(1) आन जनयमों का संजक्षि नाम केन्द्रीय मोटर यान (दसवां संिोधन) जनयम, 2023 ह ै। (2) य ेरािपत्र म ें प्रकािन की तारीख से ऄठारह मास की समाजि को प्रवृत्त होंगे । 7606 GI/2023 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] 2. केन्द्रीय मोटर यान जनयम, 1989 के जनयम 125 ग म,ें ईपजनयम (4) म,ें दसू रे परंतुक के पश्चात् जनम्नजलजखत परंतुक ऄंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, ऄथागत् :- “परंत ु यह भी दक 1 ऄिूबर, 2025 को या ईसके पश्चात ् जवजनर्वमत यान एन 2 और एन 3 प्रवग ग के यानों के केजबन के जलए वातानुकूलन प्रणाली के साथ लग े होंग े और वातानुकूलन प्रणाली के साथ लग े हुए केजबन का परीक्षण, समय-समय पर यथासंिोजधत, अइ एस 14618:2022 के ऄनुसार दकया िाएगा : परंतु यह भी दक, 1 ऄिूबर, 2025 को या ईसके पश्चात,् ड्राआव-ऄवे चेजसस के रूप म ें जवजनर्वमत एन 2 और एन 3 प्रवगग का कोइ यान, ढांचा जनमागणकताग को दकट स्ट्थाजपत करन े म ें सुजवधा प्रदान करन े के जलए चेजसस जवजनमागता, अइ एस 14618:2022 के ऄनुसार वातानुकूलन प्रणाली की एक प्रकार ऄनुमोददत दकट प्रदाय करेगा ।”। [फा. सं अरटी-11028/02/2016-एमवीएल] महमूद ऄहमद, ऄपर सजचव रटप्प ण: मलू जनयम भारत के रािपत्र, ऄसाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, ईपखंड (i) में ऄजधसूचना संखयांक सा.का.जन. 590(ऄ) तारीख 2 िून, 1989 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकए गए थ े और ऄजधसूचना संखयांक सा.का.जन. 823(ऄ), तारीख, 6 नंवबर, 2023 द्वारा ऄंजतम रुप से संिोजधत दकए गए थे। MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th December, 2023 G.S.R. 886(E).—WHEREAS the draft of certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, was published, as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number G.S.R. 492(E), dated the 10th July, 2023, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to public; AND WHEREAS copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public on the 10th July, 2023; AND WHEREAS no objections and suggestions were received from the public in respect of the said draft rules; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (Tenth Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the expiry of eighteen months from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, in rule 125C, in sub-rule (4), after the second proviso, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided also that the vehicles manufactured on or after the 1st October, 2025 shall be fitted with an air- conditioning system for the cabin of vehicles of N2 and N3 category and the testing of the cabin fitted with air- conditioning system shall be as per IS14618:2022, as amended from time to time:[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : ऄसाधारण 3 Provided also that any vehicle of N2 and N3 category, manufactured in the form of drive-away chassis, on or after the 1st October, 2025, the chassis manufacturer shall supply a type approved kit of air conditioning system as per IS 14618:2022 to facilitate the body builder in installing the kit.".
