Ministry of Finance NADT-RC and NACIN-ZTI sign MoU for Training and Capacity Building Collaboration CBDT and CBIC Training Institutes Join Hands for Academic and Capacity Building Cooperation Posted On: 14 MAY 2026 2:21PM by PIB Mumbai Mumbai : 14 May 2026 The 'National Academy of Direct Taxes, Regional Centre, Mumbai' (NADT-RC, Mumbai) and the 'National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Zonal Training Institute, Mumbai' (NACIN-ZTI, Mumbai) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, within the premises of NACIN- ZTI, Mumbai. The objective of this agreement is to establish a structured framework for institutional collaboration in the fields of academic cooperation, training, and capacity building. The MoU was signed by NADT-RC, Mumbai, Principal Additional Director General Navneet Manohar, and NACIN-ZTI, Mumbai, Principal Additional Director General Prabhat Kumar, in the presence of senior officers, faculty members, and trainee officers of both institutions.The agreement aims to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, promote professional excellence, and foster institutional synergy between the two premier training institutions of the Government of India through collaborative learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Cooperation under the MoU will span a wide spectrum of functional and behavioural domains, including taxation and finance, administration and management, procurement procedures, financial rules, investigation techniques, data analytics, forensic analysis, artificial intelligence, dark web investigations, and Training Needs Assessment initiatives.
