AND WHEREAS the Central Government has issued various notification in this regard to appoint the members of the Authority from time to time; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the following members to the National Biodiversity Authority and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1147 (E), dated the 1st October, 2003, namely:- 1.
