Initial Rollout and Approved Qualifications As part of the immediate implementation, NCVET has already approved two specific qualifications submitted by NIRD&PR:
- Industrial General Pest Management Technician: A full qualification program.
- Generation and Mobilisation of Own Source Revenue by Panchayats: A micro-credential program.
Future Roadmap NIRD&PR plans to expand its curriculum by rolling out NCVET-approved courses across three primary categories:
- Industry-relevant vocational courses specifically designed for rural youth.
- Entrepreneurship-oriented training tailored for Self Help Groups (SHGs).
- Professional skill development courses for functionaries within the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj sectors.
