Need for a special recruitment drive for Nagaland
Doordarshan Kendra and All India Radio, Kohima with
relaxation of Hindi language proficiency test-Laid
SHRI S. SUPONGMEREN JAMIR (NAGALAND): In 2013 as per
the employment news/Rozgar samachar dated 23-03-2013 the
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has advertised the vacant post
of [1] Prgramme executive & [2] Transmission for post of
transmission Executive (Production Assistant) 15 post for
Doordarshan & All India Radio for Nagaland State, but no
candidates was qualified from Nagaland as they could not get
through in Hindi Paper II subject. The Present sanctioned post for
both the stations at Nagaland Doordarshan Kendra, Kohima 1. No
of post Sanctioned -144 a. No. of post in position- 55 b. No. of
vacant post- 89 [2] All India Radio Kohima a] Total sanction post

hon'ble Minister to consider special recruitment drive for Nagaland
state with the relaxation of Hindi and make the paper I & II in
English.
