Need to provide internet services through Bharat Net alongwith installation of telephone towers in all the villages of Nabarangpur Parliamentary Constituency,Odisha-laid SHRI BALABHADRA MAJHI (NABARANGPUR): Nabarangpur Parliamentary Constituency, comprising whole of Nabarangpur and Malkangiri Districts and Kotpad Assembly segment of Koraput District, is one of the most backward areas in the country. Even though substantial developments have taken place during the regime of this Government, mobile phone service and internet service infrastructure have not matched with the demand. Internet services to Panchayats through Bharat Net has reached only to a few villages because of the low-quality work executed by the then Government of Odisha, at the cost of the Central Fund. There is a need to rectify the half done /poor quality works. There is also a need to provide additional Mobile Telephone Towers to about 400 villages. Government may be requested to look into the problems.
