S.O. 5199(E).— In supersession of this Ministry’s Notification No. 2(1)/2017-Pers.I (Pt.) dated 21st October
2025 published in the Gazette of India vide S.O. 4769(E) on 21st October 2025; and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section(1) of section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) read with rule 3 of the
Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking for Access of Information by Public) Rules, 2009, the
Central Government hereby authorizes and designates:
(a) Shri Akhil Kumar, IPS(UP:1994), Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Digital India
Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (in the rank and pay of Additional
Secretary to the Government of India), Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government Offices
Complex,New Delhi - 110003, as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said rules.
(b) Shri Sushil Pal, ICAS(1999), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,
Government of India, Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government Offices Complex, New Delhi - 110003,
as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said rules during the absence on account of leave, tour,
etc., of Shri Akhil Kumar, IPS(UP:1994), Designated Officer.
