NNOTIFICAATION (20//2020)
In exxercise of thhe powers coonferred by Se ction 1688A of the Kaarnataka Gooods and Servvices
TTax Act, 2017 (Karnatakka Act 27 off 2017) (hereeafter in thiss Notificationn referred too as the said AAct),
rread with Seection 20 off the Integratted Goods aand Services Tax Act, 20017 (13 of 22017), in vieew of
tthe spread of pandemiic COVID-19 across mmany countrries of the world incluuding India, the
GGovernmentt of Karnataaka, on the recommendations of the Council, hhereby notiffies that in ccases
wwhere a nottice has beenn issued for rejection off refund claiim, in full orr in part andd where the time
llimit for issuuance of ordder in terms of the provissions of sub-section (5),, read with ssub-section ((7) of
Section 54 oof the said AAct falls durinng the periodd from the 220th day of MMarch, 2020 tto the 29th day of
JJune, 2020, in such cases the time limit for isssuance of thee said orderr shall be exxtended to fifteen
ddays after thhe receipt off reply to thee notice fromm the registeered person oor the 30thdaay of June, 22020,
wwhichever iss later.
22. This Notificationn shall comee into force wwith effect frrom the 20thday of Marcch, 2020.
