NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th February, 2026
S.O. 893(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (v) of clause (e) of section 3 of the Right to
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013), the
Central Government hereby notifies that the Ministry of Defence shall, subject to the control of the President and until
further orders, exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the 'appropriate Government' under the said Act and
the rules made thereunder, for acquisition of private land measuring 127.71 acre in Taksing, Tame Chung Chung A,
Gelemo and Bidak under Taksing Circle in Upper Subansiri Distt. of Arunachal Pradesh for establishment of elements
of Brigade Headquarters and Infantry Battalion.
