New Delhi, the 28th August, 2024
S.O. 3648(E).––In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 4 of the Offshore Areas
Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 2002 (17 of 2003) and in supersession of the notification of the
Government of India, Ministry of Mines, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-
Section (ii), vide S.O. 2628 (E), dated the 04th July, 2024, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before
such supersession, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Vivek Kumar Bajpai, Joint Secretary, Ministry of
Mines as the administering authority for the purpose of the said Act.
