प्रस्ट्तुत दकया, जिसमें घोषणा की गई ह ै दक भारत सरकार के आजधकाररक रािपत्र एि ं स्ट्थानीय समाचार पत्रों म ें प्रकािन
की तारीख स े 2 महीने के भीतर कोई रटप्पणी / अभ्यािेदन प्राप्त नहीं हुआ था।
और अब आिेदक ने जिद्युत अजधजनयम, 2003 की धारा 164 के अंतगसत “कनासटक के कोप्पल, रायचूर और
बागलकोट जिलों म ें मेससस गदग पािर इंजडया प्राइिेट जलजमटेड की 300 मेगािाट पिन ऊिास पररयोिना के जलए
कनेजटटजिटी प्रदान करने हते ु पारेषण प्रणाली” के तहत रांसजमिन लाइन जबछाने के जलए उसे िे सभी िजिया ं प्रदान करन े
का अनुरोध दकया ह,ै िो भारतीय टेलीग्राफ अजधजनयम, 1885 के तहत टेलीग्राफ के प्रयोिन के जलए सरकार द्वारा स्ट्थाजपत
अथिा अनुरजित दकय े गए टेलीग्राफ लाइन एि ं खम्भ े या इस प्रकार की स्ट्थापना और अनुरिण दकय े िान े के जलए,
टेलीग्राफ प्राजधकरण को प्राप्त ह।ैं योिना के अतं गतस जनम्नजलजखत ओिरहडे रांसजमिन लाइन ह:ैं
(i) मेसस स गदग पािर इंजडया प्राइिेट जलजमटेड का िनरेिन पूहलंग स्ट्टेिन (िनरेिन जस्ट्िचयाडस, गोनल एसके
गांि, इलकल तालुक, बागलकोट जिला, कनासटक म ें जस्ट्थत) - कोप्पल-II पीएस (आईएसटीएस एस/एस) 220 केिी एस/सी
लाइन डीसी टािरों पर [लाइन की लंबाई लगभग 57 दकमी ह ै जिसमें स े कोप्पल-II पीएस छोर से लगभग 2-3 दकमी
(लगभग) मल्टी-सर्कसट टािरों पर लाग ूकी िाएगी]
उपरोि योिना के अतं गतस ओिरहडे रांसजमिन लाइन कनासटक के जनम्न ादं कत गााँिों, कस्ट्बों और िहरों स े होकर,
उन पर स,े उनके आसपास से और बीच स े होकर गु़िरेगी।

को उपरोि ओिरहडे रांसजमिन लाइन को लगान े के जलए िे सभी िजिया ं जनम्नजलजखत जनबंधनों एि ं ितों के साथ प्रदान
करता ह,ै िो भारतीय टेलीग्राफ अजधजनयम, 1885 के तहत टेलीग्राफ के प्रयोिन के जलए सरकार द्वारा स्ट्थाजपत अथिा
अनुरजित दकये गए टेलीग्राफ लाइन एिं खम्भे या इस प्रकार की स्ट्थापना और अनरु िण दकये िाने के जलए, टेलीग्राफ
प्राजधकरण को प्राप्त ह-ैं
(i) यह अनुमोदन 25 िषों के जलए प्रदान दकया िाता ह।ै
(ii) आिेदक को प्रस्ट्ताजित लाइन की स्ट्थापना से पूिस संबंजधत प्राजधकरणों अथातस ् स्ट्थानीय जनकायों, रेलिे, राष्ट्रीय
रािमागस, राज्य रािमागस आदद की सहमजत प्राप्त करनी होगी।
(iii) आिेदक को जिद्युत अजधजनयम, 2003 के तहत समुजचत आयोग के द्वारा तैयार दकए गए रांसजमिन, ओ एडं एम,
ओपन एटसेस आदद के जिजनयमों/संजहताओं का पालन करना होगा।
(iv) आिेदक केंद्र सरकार के जिद्युत जनरीिक/मख्ु य जिद्युत जनरीिक के अनुमोदन के पश्चात ही लाइन का प्रचालन
करेगा।
(v) यह अनुमोदन आिेदक द्वारा जिद्युत अजधजनयम, 2003 के प्रािधानों और उसके तहत बनाए गए जनयमों की
अपेिाओं का अनुपालन दकए िाने के अध्यधीन ह।ै
(vi) मेससस गदग पािर इंजडया प्राइिेट जलजमटेड को जिद्युत जनरीिण के समय जिमानन एिं रिा प्राजधकरणों इत्यादद,
से अपेजित अनुमजत को प्राप्त करने के बाद, इस े केंद्रीय जिद्युत प्राजधकरण को जिद्युत जनरीिण के समय प्रस्ट्ततु
करना होगा।

S.O. 1109(E).—Whereas M/S Gadag Power India Private Limited, the applicant with its registered office at
4th Floor, The International, 16 Maharshi Karve Road, Marine Lines, 1st Cross Lane, New Marine Lines,Churchgate,
Mumbai – 400020,India has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of
overhead transmission line included in the Transmission Scheme “Transmission system for providing connectivity to
M/S Gadag Power India Pvt. Ltd. for its 300 MW Wind Power project in Koppal, Raichur and Bagalkote district,
Karnataka”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its Letter No. 25-17/60/2025-PG dated
12.06.2025 had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead transmission
line covered under the transmission scheme “Transmission system for providing connectivity to M/S Gadag Power
India Pvt. Ltd. for its 300 MW Wind Power project in Koppal, Raichur and Bagalkote district, Karnataka”.
M/s Gadag Power India Private Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local newspapers
Rajasthan Patrika (Hindi) dated 24.06.2025, Deccan Herald (English) dated 24.06.2025, Prajavani (Kannada) dated
24.06.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 26.07.2025 for the general public to make
observations/representations on the proposed transmission route within 2 months from the date of publication.
Subsequently, M/s Gadag Power India Private Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 22.11.2025 declaring that no
observation/representation was received within 2 months from the date of public notice.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so
established or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme “Transmission system for
providing connectivity to M/S Gadag Power India Pvt. Ltd. for its 300 MW Wind Power project in Koppal, Raichur
and Bagalkote district, Karnataka”. The following overhead line is covered under this scheme
(i) Generation Pooling Station of M/s Gadag Power India Pvt. Ltd.(Generation Switchyard located at Gonal
SK Village, Ilkal Taluk, Bagalkote District, Karnataka) – Koppal-II PS (ISTS S/s) 220 kV S/c line on D/c towers [line
length is about 57 km out of which about 2-3 km (approx.) from Koppal-II PS end will be implemented on multi-
circuit towers].
The overhead transmission line covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between
the following villages, towns and cities of Karnataka State:

Now, after careful consideration, Ministry of Power, Government of India, under section 164 of the Electricity Act,
2003, confers all the powers to M/s Gadag Power India Private Limited for above overhead line, which telegraph
authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to placing of telegraph lines and posts for the
purposes of a telegraph established or maintained, by Government or to be established or maintained subject to
following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned line, namely:
(i) The approval is granted for 25 years.
(ii) The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways,
National Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line.
(iii) The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding
transmission, O&M, open access, etc., framed under the Electricity Act, 2003.
(iv) The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of

(v) The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and
the rules made there under by the applicant.
(vi) M/s Gadag Power India Private Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central Electricity
Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc, at the time of
Electrical Inspection.
