िोई रटप्पणी / अभ्यािेदन प्राप्त नहीं हुआ िा।
और अब आिेदि न े विद्युत अविवनयम, 2003 िी िारा 164 िे अतं गतस “िनासटि िे िोप्पल म ें मेससस टाटा पॉिर
ररन्यूएबल एनजी वलवमटेड िे 340 (170+170) मेगािाट विंड पॉिर प्रोजेक्ट िो िनेवक्टविटी प्रदान िरने िे वलए ट्ांसवमशन
प्रणाली” िे तहत ट्ांसवमशन लाइन वबछान े िे वलए उसे ि े सभी शविया ं प्रदान िरन े िा अनुरोि किया ह,ै जो भारतीय
टेलीग्राफ अविवनयम, 1885 िे तहत टेलीग्राफ िे प्रयोजन िे वलए सरिार द्वारा थिावपत अििा अनुरवित किय ेगए टेलीग्राफ
लाइन एि ं खम्भ े या इस प्रिार िी थिापना और अनरु िण किय े जाने िे वलए, टेलीग्राफ प्रावििरण िो प्राप्त ह।ैं योजना िे

उपरोि योजना िे अतं गतस ओिरहडे ट्ांसवमशन लाइन िनासटि िे वनम्न ाकं ित गााँिों, िथबों और शहरों स े होिर, उन पर स,े
उनिे आसपास स ेऔर बीच स ेहोिर गुज़रेगी:

अब, साििानीपूिसि विचार िरने िे पश्चात, विद्युत मंत्रालय, भारत सरिार, विद य ुत अविवनयम, 2003 िी िारा 164 िे
अंतगतस मैसस स टाटा पॉिर ररन्यएू बल एनजी वलवमटेड िो उपरोि ओिरहडे ट्ांसवमशन लाइन िो लगान े िे वलए िे सभी
शवियां वनम्नवलवखत वनबंिनों एि ंशतों िे साि प्रदान िरता ह,ै जो भारतीय टेलीग्राफ अविवनयम, 1885 िे तहत टेलीग्राफ
िे प्रयोजन िे वलए सरिार द्वारा थिावपत अििा अनरु वित किय े गए टेलीग्राफ लाइन एि ं खम्भे या इस प्रिार िी थिापना
और अनरु िण किय े जान े िे वलए, टेलीग्राफ प्रावििरण िो प्राप्त ह-ैं
i. यह अनुमोदन 25 िषों िे वलए प्रदान किया जाता ह।ै
ii. आिेदि िो प्रथतावित लाइन िी थिापना स े पूिस संबंवित प्रावििरणों अिातस थिानीय वनिायों, रेलिे, राष्ट्रीय

iii. आिेदि िो विद्युत अविवनयम, 2003 िे तहत समुवचत आयोग िे द्वारा तैयार किए गए ट्ांसवमशन, ओ एडं एम,
ओपन एक्सेस आकद िे विवनयमों/संवहताओं िा पालन िरना होगा।
iv. आिेदि िेंद्र सरिार िे विद्युत वनरीिि/मुख्य विद्युत वनरीिि िे अनुमोदन िे पश्चात ही लाइन िा प्रचालन िरेगा।
v. यह अनुमोदन आिेदि द्वारा विद्युत अविवनयम, 2003 िे प्राििानों और उसिे तहत बनाए गए वनयमों िी अपेिाओं
िा अनुपालन किए जाने िे अध्यिीन ह।ै
vi. मैससस टाटा पॉवर ररन्यूएबल एनिी जलजमटेड, को जवद्युत जनरीक्षण के समय जवमानन एवं रक्षा प्राजधकरणों इत्यादि,
से अपेजक्षत अनुमजत को प्राप्त करन े के बाि इस ेकेंद्रीय जवद्युत प्राजधकरण को जवद्युत जनरीक्षण के समय प्रस्ट्तुत करना
होगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 16th June, 2026
S.O. 3180(E).— Whereas M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited having its registered address at Tata
Power Renewable Energy Limited, C/o Corporate Centre, A Block, 34 Sant Tukaram Road, Carnac Bunder, Mumbai –
400009 India, has applied for authorization under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for laying of overhead
transmission line included in the transmission scheme, “Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s TATA
Power Renewable Energy Ltd. for its 340 MW (170 MW + 170 MW) wind power project Koppal, Karnataka”.
And whereas, Ministry of Power, Government of India vide its letter No. 25-17/28/2025-PG dated 17.03.2025
had granted prior approval under section 68(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for the overhead line covered under the
transmission scheme “Transmission System for providing connectivity to M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Ltd. for
its 340 MW (170 MW + 170 MW) wind power project Koppal, Karnataka.”
M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited had published notice for transmission scheme in local
newspapers, Deccan Herald (in English) dated 29.03.2025, Rajasthan Patrika (in Hindi) dated 14.06.2025, Prajavani (in
Kannada) dated 14.06.2025 and in Weekly Gazette of India dated 26.07.2025 for the general public to make
observations/ representations on the proposed transmission route within two months from the date of publication.
Subsequently, M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited has submitted an affidavit dated 29.04.2026 declaring that
no observation/ representation was received within two months from the date of Publication in the official Gazette of
Government of India and newspaper publications.
And now the applicant has requested to confer upon him, all the powers under section 164 of the Electricity
Act, 2003, which the telegraph authority possess under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to the placing of
telegraph lines and posts for the purpose of a telegraph established or maintained by Government or to be so established
or maintained for laying of electric lines under the transmission scheme “Transmission System for providing
connectivity to M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited for its 340 MW (170 MW + 170 MW) wind power project
Koppal, Karnataka.” The following overhead line is covered under this scheme:
• Generation Pooling Station of M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited (Generation Switchyard located
at Shiragumpi Village, Yelburga Taluk, Koppal District, Karnataka) - Gadag-II PS (ISTS S/s) 220 kV S/c line

The transmission line covered under the above scheme will pass through, over, around and between the following
villages, towns and cities of Karnataka:

Now, after careful consideration, Ministry of Power, Government of India, under section 164 of the Electricity Act,
2003, confers all the powers to M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited for laying above overhead line, which
telegraph authority possesses under the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 with respect to placing of telegraph lines and posts
for the purposes of a telegraph established or maintained, by Government or to be established or maintained subject to
following terms and conditions for installing the above mentioned line, namely:
i. The approval is granted for 25 years.
ii. The Applicant shall have to seek the consent of the concerned authorities i.e., local bodies, Railways, National
Highways, State Highways etc. before erection of proposed line.
iii. The Applicant shall have to follow regulations/ codes of the Appropriate Commission regarding transmission,
O&M, open access, etc., framed under the Electricity Act, 2003.
iv. The Applicant shall operate the line after approval of Electrical Inspector / Chief Electrical Inspector of Central
Government.
v. The approval is subject to compliance of the requirement of the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the
rules made there under by the applicant.
vi. M/s TATA Power Renewable Energy Limited shall have to submit the requisite clearances to Central
Electricity Authority after obtaining the same from concerned authorities like Civil Aviation, Defense etc., at
the time of Electrical Inspection.
