2049.3088 हक्े टेयर क्षेत्र को क्लब करन े का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया था और केन्द्र सरकार न े ददनांक 13.01.2016 को स्ट्वीकृत पत्र
प्रदान कर ददया था;

ददनांक 12.10.2021 के तहत प्रस्ट्ताव को ऄनापजत्त प्रमाण पत्र दे ददया ह;ै
और यत;, जवकास अयक्तु , जविाखापत्तनम जविेष अर्थथक िोन न े जविेष अर्थथक िोन के 226.2143 हक्े टेयर क्षेत्र
को ऄनजधसूजचत करने के प्रस्ट्ताव को संस्ट्तुजत की ह;ै
और यत:, केन्द्र सरकार, आस बात से संतुष्ट ह ैदक ऄजधजनयम की धारा 3 की ईप-धारा (8) के ऄतं गवत ऄपक्षे ाओं तथा
ऄन्द्य संम्बजधत ऄपेक्षाओं को परू ा कर जलया गया है तथा अंध्र प्रदिे सरकार द्वारा ददनांक 12.10.2021 के पत्र द्वारा िारी
ऄनापजत्त प्रमाण पत्र (एनओसी) के ऄनुसार ऄनजधसूजचत भजू म का ईपयोग लॉजिजस्ट्टक्स पाकव और फूड प्रोसेससग पाकव
जवकजसत करने के जलए दकया िाएगा;
ऄत:, ऄब जविेष अर्थथक िोन ऄजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की ईप-धारा (1) के दसू रे परन्द्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त
िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और जविेष अर्थथक िोन जनयमावली, 2006 के जनयम 8 के ऄनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 10th November, 2021
S.O. 4772(E).—Whereas, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited (formerly M/s. Kakinada SEZ Private Limited), had
proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said
Act) to set up a Multi-Product Special Economic Zone at Ponnada, Mulapeta, Ramanakkapeta Villages in Kakinada,
East Godavari District, in the State of Andhra Pradesh;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 1013.64 hectares
vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 342 (E) dated 06.02.2013;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited proposed for clubbing of KSEZ-I and KSEZ-2 at above
location over an area of 2049.3088 hectares and Central Government granted letter of approval on 13.01.2016;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, de-notified 121.43 hectares and 48.5715
hectares vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notifications Number S.O. 2177 (E) dated 05.07.2017 and
S.O. 1217 (E) dated 14.03.2018 respectively;
AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Kakinada SEZ Limited has now proposed for de-notification of an area of 226.2143
hectares at the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter
No.INC01-IND0PNC(SEZ)/2/2019-INFRA dated 12.10.2021;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone has
recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 226.2143 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section
3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and the de-notified land will be used to develop Logistics
Park and Food Processing Park as per No Objection Certificate (NoC) issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide
letter dated 12.10.2021;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the
Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 226.2143 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 1653.0930
hectares. The survey numbers and the areas for the de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
