S.O. 1580(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45ZA of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934
(2 of 1934), the Central Government, in consultation with the Bank, hereby notifies the inflation target for the period
beginning from the 1st day of April, 2026 and ending on the 31st March, 2031, as under:
Inflation Target : Four per cent.
Upper tolerance level : Six per cent.
Lower tolerance level : Two per cent.
