अजधजनयम, 1985 (1985 का 10) की धारा 18 के साथ परित रेल अजधजनयम, 1989 (1989 का 24) की धारा 60 द्वारा
प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, कोलकाता मेरो रेल साधारण जनयम, 2019 म ें संिोधन करते हुए जनम्न जलजखत जनयम
बनाती ह,ै अथाडत ् :-
1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ. – (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम कोलकाता मेरो रेल साधारण (संिोधन) जनयम,
2023 ह।ै
(2) ये रािपत्र म ेंउनके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रवृत् त होंगे।
2. आरंजभक पैरा के पश् चात् ‘भाग-।’ के अधीन िीर्डक “(उत् तर-िजक्षण और पूवड-पजिम कॉररडोर)” के स्ट्थान पर
िीर्डक “(सामान्द य जनयम)” रखा िाएगा।
3. उक्त जनयम में जनयम 83 के पश् चात् ‘भाग-।।’ के अधीन िीर्कड “(उत् तर-िजक्षण कॉररडोर)” के स्ट्थान पर िीर्डक
“(सीबीटीसी प्रणाली स ेजभन्न कायड कर रही रेलगाडी)” रखा िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th February, 2023
G.S.R. 100(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 60 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989),
read with Section 18 of Calcutta Metro Railway (Operations and Maintenance) Temporary Provisions Act, 1985 (10
of 1985) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Kolkata Metro Railway General
Rules, 2019, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Kolkata Metro Railway General
(Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. After the opening paragraph, under ‘PART-I’, for the heading “(NORTH-SOUTH AND EAST-WEST
CORRIDOR)”, the heading “(COMMON RULES)” shall be substituted.
3. In the said rule, after rule 83, under ‘PART-II’, for the heading “(NORTH-SOUTH CORRIDOR)”, the
heading “(TRAIN WORKING UNDER OTHER THAN CBTC SYSTEM)” shall be substituted.
4. After rule 203, under ‘PART-III’, for the heading “(EAST-WEST CORRIDOR)”, the heading “(TRAIN
WORKING UNDER CBTC SYSTEM)” shall be substituted.
