GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF TRIBAL AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION No- 3064 TO BE ANSWERED ON- 06/08/2026 ADDRESSING RECOMMENDATIONS OF TRIBAL COMMUNITIES 3064. SHRI V K SREEKANDAN: Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) whether the tribal communities have come out with more than 100 recommendations covering various aspects during their recent brainstorming session, if so, the details thereof; (b) whether they have demanded strengthening of the Forest Rights Act and the expansion of Forest Rights Committees, if so, the details thereof; (c) whether they have demanded the resolution of long-pending tribal land disputes through appropriate mechanisms including a judicial commission, if so, the details thereof; and (d) whether the Government is considering to address the issues raised by them, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGA DAS UIKEY) (a) to (d): Ministry of Tribal Affairs has not organised any brainstorming session with tribal communities recently. Further, none of the State Governments has submitted such recommendations emerging out of any brainstorming session organised by them. ******
