Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) in Haryana, district-wise;
(b) the funds disbursed particularly in Lok Sabha Constituency Sonipat;
(c) the number of beneficiaries, particularly small and marginal farmers, cooperative societies
under Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), district-wise;
(d) the measures being taken by the Government to ensure uniform distribution of funds to all
the districts; and
(e) the details of impact of the AHIDF on employment generation, income growth and livestock
productivity in the State, district-wise?

(a) The details of projects approved, funds sanctioned and the types of projects under the Animal
Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) in Haryana, district-wise are placed at
Annexure-I
(b) Till date, no project has been approved in the Sonipat district (data is not maintained Lok
Sabha Constituency wise). However in Haryana, 22 projects have been approved by the Project
Approval Committee (PAC) under the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund
(AHIDF) and Rs.13.83 Cr. interest subvention has been released till date.
(c) Under Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF), eligible entities to
avail the benefits are Dairy Co-operatives, Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), Private
companies, individual entrepreneur, Section 8 companies, and Micro Small & Medium
Enterprise (MSME). In Haryana, in Hisar district, Project Approval Committee (PAC) has
approved one FPO having 1500 farmer members. The project cost approved was Rs.5.86 Cr.,
and term loan was Rs.1.34 Cr. The details of the number of beneficiaries district-wise under the
scheme from 2020-21 to till date (22-07-2025) is placed at Annexure II.
(d) The scheme follows a demand-driven approach wherein proposals are considered based on
merit and eligibility, irrespective of geographical location. States are regularly advised to
encourage eligible beneficiaries to apply for the scheme. Applications are processed through a
transparent online portal and approvals are granted based on project viability, adherence to
scheme guidelines and loan sanction by the concerned lending institutions.
(e) Under Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF), 1 project each of
Karnal with a project cost of Rs.4.08 Cr. and term loan of Rs.1.65 Cr. for 200 cattle capacity
and of Jind for project cost of Rs.2.93 Cr. and Rs.1.20 Cr. term loan for 28,0000 bird capacity
per annum broiler farm has been approved. The details of impact of the AHIDF on employment
generation, farmers benefitted in the State, district-wise are placed at Annexure III.
