ANSWER
THE MINISTER OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS
(SHRI NITIN JAIRAM GADKARI)
(a) to (e) A request was received for the provision of a median opening near
village Barauli on NH-352 at its intersection with the Jind University-Lajwana
Kalan village road. The site of the said location has been examined and it was observed that
there exists a median opening at a distance of 1300m towards the Narwana
side and an underpass at a distance of 660m towards the Rohtak side
through which road users can safely access the cross road. There is no
connectivity constraint between Jind University and village Barauli.
Provision of an additional median opening at such a short interval is
not feasible from the road safety point of view.
