(a) to (e): Ministry of Mines receives complaints concerning implementation of the
provisions of the MMDR Act and the associated Rules, as well as on the matters related
to functioning of its Attached and Subordinate offices and Public Sector Undertakings.
Over the past three years, a total number of 448 complaints have been received and
appropriate action has been initiated on these complaints in accordance with the
applicable rules and guidelines. Relevant details are provided in the Annexure.
