OIH GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3562 TO BE ANSWERED ON 11.08.2025 Allocation of Funds for Madhya Pradesh 3562: SHRI GYANESHWAR PATIL: Will the Minister of ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE be pleased to state: (a) the details of various schemes launched by the Government in the field of Environment, Forest and Climate Change across the country, State/UT-wise particularly in Madhya Pradesh; (b) the details of the funds allocated, sanctioned, released and utilised for these projects under the said Schemes in Madhya Pradesh; (c) the details of identified sites/destinations and the list of projects sanctioned under these schemes in the said State; and (d) the present status of these projects in the said State, district-wise? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE (SHRI KIRTI VARDHAN SINGH) (a) & (b) There are two types of schemes i.e. Central Sector Schemes (CS) and Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) being implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) for Protection of the environment, forests and wildlife. The details of financial assistance under CSS to the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and CS funds released to implementing agencies in Madhya Pradesh are at Annexure-I. (c) to (d) MoEF&CC releases funds to Implementing Agencies under CS (100%) and provides financial assistance to States under CSS on cost sharing basis between the Centre and State. These Schemes are implemented by State Governments and their agencies.
