PRIYA SAROJ: Will the Minister of Women and Child Development be pleased to state: (a) the details of the fund allocation/actual expenditure under major schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, POSHAN Abhiyaan and One Stop Centres in Uttar Pradesh during the last three years; (b) the details of funds utilisation, district-wise including Jaunpur, particularly for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries; (c) whether any funds remained unutilized during the said period and if so, the details thereof along with the reasons therefor; (d) the details of malnutrition rates among children (0–6 years) and pregnant/lactating women in said district; (e) the number of cases reported specifically among SC/ST communities; and (f) whether there is any plan to expand Anganwadi infrastructure in remote and rural areas and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT (SHRIMATI SAVITRI THAKUR) (a) & (b) The details of funds released to and utilised by State Government of Uttar Pradesh, including for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes beneficiaries, under the schemes of the Ministry during the last three years are annexed. District-wise details of utilisation of funds are not maintained under the schemes of the Ministry.(c) The reasons for underutilization, inter alia, include not meeting the minimum conditions of Single Nodal Agency/SNA SPARSH on the Public Financial Management System, low recruitment of manpower resources leading to savings, delay in completion of construction activities and delay in settlement of Utilization Certificates. (d) to (f) The details of malnutrition rates among children (0-6 years) and pregnant and lactating women in Jaunpur district (Uttar Pradesh) as on 30 June 2025: Malnutritional data (0-6 Years) as per Poshan Tracker Percentage (%) Sl No. Category 1. Stunting 53.98% 2. Underweight 22.64% 3. Wasting (0-5 Years)* 5.63% *Data of wasting is maintained on Poshan Tracker for children of age group 0-5 years. The PM JANMAN Mission launched by Ministry of Tribal Affairs aims for targeted development of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) residing in 18 States and a UT. This Mission focuses on 11 critical interventions related to 9 key Ministries including Ministry of Women and Child Development.
