SELVAGANABATHY: SHRI SHAMBHU SHARAN PATEL: Will the Minister of FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING be pleased to state: (a) total funds sanctioned, approved and disbursed under Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) as of January, 2026 especially in Maharashtra; (b) sector-wise distribution of assistance under AHIDF; (c) whether sanctioned assistance has translated into establishment or expansion of diary processing, meat processing units and value-addition infrastructure during the said period in Maharashtra; (d) if so, number of such units operationalized, district wise; (e) extent to which MSMEs, FPOs, cooperatives and private entrepreneurs have accessed support under AHIDF; (f) whether any delay has been reported in loan approvals, credit guarantee processing or subsidy disbursement under AHIDF; and (g) if so, whether corrective measures have been undertaken, details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF FISHERIES, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND DAIRYING (SHRI RAJIV RANJAN SINGH ALIAS LALAN SINGH) (a) Under the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) scheme, funds are released directly to the beneficiary and not to the State Governments. (c) and (d) The district-wise and category-wise details of approved and operationalised value- addition infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, comprising dairy processing plants and meat processing units, are placed at Annexure–II.(e) The details of the extent to which MSMEs, FPOs, cooperatives, and private entrepreneurs have availed support under the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF) are placed at Annexure–III. (f) and (g) The approval of the loan to the beneficiary depends on the concerned banks. The beneficiary needs to comply with the requirements of the bank. The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Government of India is actively engaged with banks once an application is found eligible for AHIDF benefits. To expedite implementation, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India tracks all projects approved in Project Approval Committee (PAC) and Project Sanctioning Committee (PSC) meetings as per scheme guidelines and conducts regular follow-ups with nodal officers of the banks and State Animal Husbandry Departments.
