districts across sectors which are critical for improving overall quality of life of citizens.
49 key performance indicators have been selected across different sectors, these sectors
are Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and Water Resources, Financial
Inclusion and Skill Development and Basic Infrastructure. On the basis of these key
indicators, districts are ranked periodically. ADP focuses on the effective implementation
of existing Central and State Government schemes through convergence at the district
level. Under the Aspirational Districts Programme, districts undertake various
developmental projects to address critical gaps using the financial grants they win
through the programme's delta ranking method.
