Shri Amar Sharadrao Kale: Will the Minister of AYUSH be pleased to state: (a) the details of the progress made so far under the AYUSH Drugs Quality Scheme including the framework for integration of pharmacovigilance, quality control and goods manufacturing practices certification for AYUSH manufacturing units; (b) the number of AYUSH manufacturing units upgraded under the scheme including those which have received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories; (c) the number of analytical laboratories established or strengthened under the Scheme along with the details of funds sanctioned and released so far; and (d) the distribution of beneficiaries and the details of infrastructure created under the AYUSH drug quality upgradation scheme in the country, State/UT-wise? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE (IC) OF THE MINISTRY OF AYUSH (SHRI PRATAPRAO JADHAV) (a) to (d) Ministry of Ayush is implementing a Central Sector Scheme Ayush Oushadhi Gunavatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana (AOGUSY) since 2021-22 with total budget outlay of Rs. 122.00 crores for five years. Till date, 18 Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy (ASU&H) pharmacies and 07 ASU&H Drug Testing Laboratories (DTLs) have been supported financially under this scheme across the country. An amount of Rs. 40.13 crore has been sanctioned as Grant-in-Aid to these pharmacies and DTLs.
