(a) to (e) : The work of Bakhtiyarpur–Rajgir–Tilaiya doubling (104 km) has
been recently sanctioned at a cost of ₹2,192 crore. The process of land
acquisition has been initiated. This project has been declared as a
Special Railway Project. Competent Authority for Land Acquisition
(CALA) has also been nominated in November,2025.

Completion of Railway project/s depends on various factors which
include the following:
Land acquisition
Forest clearance
Shifting of infringing utilities
Statutory clearances from various authorities
Geological and topographical conditions of area
Number of working months in a year for particular project site etc.
