GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF MINORITY AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. †6180 ANSWERED ON 01/04/2026 BEGUM HAZRAT MAHAL NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME †6180 SHRI JUGAL KISHORE: SHRI SUDHEER GUPTA: SHRI CHAVAN RAVINDRA VASANTRAO: SHRI JASWANTSINH SUMANBHAI BHABHOR: SHRI DHAIRYASHEEL SAMBHAJIRAO MANE: Will the Minister of MINORITY AFFAIRS be pleased to state: (a) the details and total number of scholarship provided to girl students belonging to minority communities under the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme during the last three years particularly in respect of Dahod Lok Sabha Constituency, State/UT-wise; (b) the details of the funds allocated and disbursed under this scheme during the said period; (c) the details of the number of applications received and sanctioned under this scheme, yearwise; (d) whether the Government has revised the number of scholarships or the amount of financial assistance provided under this scheme; and (e) if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF MINORITY AFFAIRS (SHRI KIREN RIJIJU) (a) to (e): Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Schemes for girls, which was implemented by Maulana Azad Education Foundation (MAEF) for entire country including the Lok Sabha Constituency of Dahod, has been subsumed with Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes for minorities from 2022-23. *****
