SHRIR. DHARMAR: Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate: (a) the total numberof beneficiaries enrolledunder the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Tamil Nadu, including district-wise and rural-urban breakdown; (b) the total number of beneficiaries who have availed treatment under the scheme in Tamil Nadu, the typesof treatmentsprovided andthe totalexpenditure incurred; (c) whether there have been any delays or difficulties in empanelment of hospitals or reimbursement tohealthcare providersinTamil Nadu, if so, the detailsthereof; and (d) the steps taken by Government to ensure that all eligible citizens in Tamil Nadu, especiallyinremote andunderserved areas, have accesstothe scheme? ANSWER THE MINISTER OFSTATEIN THE MINISTRYOFHEALTHAND FAMILYWELFARE (SHRIPRATAPRAOJADHAV) (a) to (d):As on 31.12.2025, 85.51 lakh Ayushman cards have been created under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the State of Tamil Nadu. The district-wise details of Ayushmancardscreated inthe Stateof Tamil Nadu canbe accessed at: https://dashboard.nha.gov.in/public/card As on 31.12.2025, 1.21 crore hospital admissions amounting toRs. 9,541.76 crore have been authorized under AB-PMJAY in the State of Tamil Nadu. Further, as on 31.12.2025, 2,296 hospitals are empanelled under the scheme in the State of Tamil Nadu, that include 1,254 private hospitals. Further, hospital-specific call centre (14413) has been set-up to address the concernsof hospitals ona real-time basis includingconcernsrelatedtoempanelment. Additionally, AB-PMJAY has a comprehensive media and outreach strategy to spread awareness and empower beneficiaries. This includes advertisement over traditional media platforms including newspapers, community radio, street plays, digital displays, radio campaigns, mass messaging, telecast of beneficiary testimonials, etc. In addition to this, State Health Agencies have also engaged a wide network of frontline workers in creating mass awareness at the grassroot level. *****
