Will the Minister of HEALTHAND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleased tostate:

(a) the number of beneficiaries availing treatment under the Ayushman Bharat -Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) in Bhagalpur district of Bihar during the last three years(from 2022-23, 2023-24 and2024-25);

(b) the totalnumberof golden cardsissued overthese years;

(c) the number of private and Government hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Yojana inBhagalpurdistrict; and

(a): The details of number of beneficiaries who availed treatment under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Bhagalpur district of Bihar during the

(c): As on 30.06.2025, a total of 41 hospitals are empanelled under the scheme in Bhagalpur district, out of which 28are private and13 are public hospitals.

(d): The Economic Survey 2024-25 highlights AB-PMJAY’s impact in reducing Out-of- Pocket Expenditure (OOPE) through increased social security and primary health spending, with recorded savings over Rs. 1.25 lakh crore. Between FY15 and FY22, Government HealthExpenditure (GHE) increasedfrom 29.0% to48.0%, while Out-of-PocketExpenditure

(OOPE)declinedfrom 62.6% to39.4%. *****
