(a): Cancer treatment facilities are functional in All India Institute of Medical Sciences
(AIIMS) Delhi and 18 AIIMS set up under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana
(PMSSY).
(b) & (c): Public Health is a State subject. However, to enhance the facilities for tertiary care
of cancer, under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable
Diseases, financial assistance is provided to States and Union Territories for setting up of
