Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the total number of training institutions established for each Central
Armed Police Force (CAPF) in the country;
(b) the locations of these institutions along with the nature of training
imparted, including basic training, counter-insurgency, jungle warfare,
technical, medical, fire safety and specialised courses, State/UT-wise;
(c) whether any expansion, modernisation or upgradation of CAPF training
centres has been undertaken during the last five years and if so, the details
thereof, Force-wise and year-wise;
(d) whether minimum standards and infrastructure norms have been
prescribed for CAPF training institutions along with the key components of
such standards;
(e) whether any new CAPF training centres are proposed in the country
particularly in Andhra Pradesh, including Vizianagaram district and the
present status of such proposals; and
(f) the funds allocated and utilised for development of CAPF training
infrastructure during such period, year and Force-wise?

KALISETTI REGARDING “CAPF TRAINING INSTITUTIONS”
(a) & (b) A total number of 83 Training Institutions have been established all
over the Country for training needs of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Training is imparted using traditional and modern techniques, keeping in view
the present & future challenges alongwith geographical conditions. Number
of training institutes, State/UT wise is at Annexure-I.
(c) Expansion, modernisation and upgradation of training centres are being
done on requirement basis. Further, purchase of motor vehicles, technical
gadgets and creation of manpower for imparting training in CAPFs has been
carried out from time to time. The training institutes impart efficient and
effective training which is evident from a number of successful operations of
anti-terrorism, border security, anti-insurgency, co-operation, maintaining
peace & order and left wing extremism.
(d) All Training Institutes are established as per authorized norms. Some key
