GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 3322 ANSWERED ON 20.03.2026 CCTV SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS AT RAILWAY STATIONS IN ODISHA 3322 SHRI NIRANJAN BISHI: Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state: (a) whether CCTV surveillance systems have been installed at all major railway stations in Odisha especially in western Odisha; and (b) if so, the details thereof and remaining stations yet to be covered? ANSWER MINISTER OF RAILWAYS, INFORMATION & BROADCASTING AND ELECTRONICS & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SHRI ASHWINI VAISHNAW) (a) & (b): Installation of CCTV Surveillance Systems is planned at all crossing railway stations in the State of Odisha including in Western Odisha. Further; ● CCTV installation has already been completed at 70 stations in the State of Odisha which includes 15 major stations. ● In Western Odisha, major stations provided with CCTV Surveillance System coverage are Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Balangir and Titlagarh. Installation of CCTV system at stations across Indian Railways is a continuous and ongoing process. So far, CCTV cameras have been installed at 1825 stations across Indian Railways. ***** §
