On December 11th, 2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways addressed Unstarred Question No. 1924 regarding the Central Road Fund (CRF). Shri Bhausaheb Rajaram Wakchaure inquired whether the government received requests from public representatives to include 14 roads of Shirdi Parliamentary Constituency in Maharashtra under the CRF for construction or improvement, and the progress made.
The Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari, confirmed the receipt of the request for 14 works in the Shirdi Parliamentary Constituency under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) Scheme. The list was forwarded to the State Government of Maharashtra to prioritise projects for sanction under CRIF. 103 works have been sanctioned, costing Rs. 1688 crores under CRIF for Maharashtra in Financial Year 2025-26. This includes three specific works in the Shirdi Parliamentary Constituency:
1. Improvement to SH-222 Tolarkhind Kotul Sawarchol Sangamner Kopargaon Ukkadgao Vaijpur Road (SH-65) from Km 103/200 to 105/600 Tal-Kopargaon, Dist-Ahilyanagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 20.00 Crores.
2. Construction of Major Bridge on Pravara River with Approach road, Khirdi (ODR 50) Tal.Shrirampur Dist.Ahilyanagar to Tilapur (VR 90) Tal.Rahuri Dist.Ahilyanagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 20.00 Crores.
3. Construction of major bridge on Kol river, Savatsar Bhojde Dhotre road (MDR 5) km 24/00 Dist.Ahilyanagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.00 Crores.
The total estimated cost for these three works is Rs. 47.00 Crores.

(a) to (c) Yes Sir. Government has received the request regarding
construction/ repair of 14 works of Shirdi Parliamentary Constituency
in the State of Maharashtra under Central Road and Infrastructure
Fund (CRIF) Scheme. The list of works has been forwarded to State
Government of Maharashtra to prioritise the projects for sanction
under CRIF Scheme. Based on the inter-se priority of works
recommended by the State Government, 103 number of works have
been sanctioned costing Rs. 1688 crores under CRIF for the State of
Maharashtra during current Financial Year 2025-26 which includes
following 3 works in the Shirdi Parliamentary Constituency:
