Will the Minister of Corporate Affairs be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of operationalisation of the Centralised
Processing Centre (CPC) for processing and scrutiny of annual returns
and financial statements, including the number of filings processed
during the last three years;
(b) the details of the mechanisms adopted within the CPC for
identification of inactive or non-compliant companies through
compliance flags and data analytics particularly in the State of Gujarat;
(c) the number of companies classified as dormant or struck off
pursuant to such compliance monitoring under the Companies Act, 2013
during said period; and
(d) whether these measures have resulted in measurable improvements
in corporate compliance and transparency and in ease of doing business
in the country and if so, the details thereof?

(a). The Central Processing Centre (CPC) was established effective from
16.02.2024 for centralized processing of 12 e-forms filed by companies
which were earlier processed by various jurisdictional Registrar of
Companies across India. It does not scrutinize annual returns and
financial statements.
(b) to (d). In view of reply to part (a) above, situation does not arise.
