Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:
(a) the details of funds disbursed to the State of Maharashtra for implementing Centrally
sponsored schemes during the last five year;
(b) whether the State has contributed matching components for the implementation of these
schemes during the last five years;
(c) if so, the details thereof along with the amount of funds contributed by the State
Government during the same period, year-wise;
(d) whether the State Government of Maharashtra has submitted the utilization certificates for
the funds utilized under the schemes during same period; and
(e) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefore, year-wise?

(a) The detail of funds disbursed to the State Government of Maharashtra for implementing
Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) during the last five years is given in Annexure-I.
(b) to (c) Yes. The amount contributed by the State Government of Maharashtra during the last
five years for implementation of CSS is given in Annexure-II.(d) to (e) As per instructions of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, dated 23rd
March 2021, Central share of funds are released by nodal Ministries/Departments only after
utilisation of 75% of both the Central share released earlier and its commensurate State share.
