during the last three years and the current year, State-wise and component-wise especially in
Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra;
(b) the details of funds allocated and utilized during the last three years, State-wise and
component-wise particularly in Parbhani Lok Sabha Constituency of Maharashtra;
(c) the major challenges faced by the Government in effective implementation of CPDS and
the strategies being adopted to overcome these challenges;
(d) whether there is any proposal to expand the scope, increase the budget or modify the
components of CPDS to meet emerging challenges in the ensuing financial years; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals to promote growth and development of
chemicals and petrochemicals sector. The scheme is implemented across the country and is not
