(a) the current status regarding the commencement of commercial flight
operations from Neyveli Airport in Tamil Nadu;
(b) the details of the upgradation process undertaken at the said airport and
the timeline fixed for its completion; and
(c) the details of the funds allocated for initiating commercial operations from
Neyveli Airport?

Corporation (NLC), was identified for operations during the 1st round of
bidding under the Regional Connectivity Scheme - Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik
(RCS-UDAN).
The development work at Neyveli Airport has been completed with an
expenditure of Rs 26.43 crore. Commencement of flights by the Selected
Airline Operator (SAO) is subject to the licensing of the airport for
operations.
