**Summary:**
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is currently evaluating a proposal to construct an expressway connecting Sector-36, Bhagwan Mahavir Marg, Rohini Heliport in Delhi to the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway. This proposal was addressed in Lok Sabha Unstarred Question No. 891 on July 24, 2025.
Currently, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) is being prepared for the extension of the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway from the KMP interchange to UERII. The decision regarding project implementation and investment will be based on the DPR's findings, connectivity requirements, project priorities, and synergy with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. Specific details regarding the expressway's length, width, alignment, estimated construction cost, expected benefits (including reduced travel time, improved connectivity, and economic growth), and the number of beneficiaries are contingent upon the DPR's outcome. As the project is still in the DPR phase, details regarding land acquisition, displacement minimization, environmental impact mitigation, construction timelines, and responsible agencies are not yet available. The Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari, provided the response to the Lok Sabha question.
