Cooperative Governance in Odisha
2089 Smt. Mamata Mohanta:
Will the Minister of Cooperation be pleased to state:
(a) whether computerisation of Registrar of Cooperative Societies offices has been completed
in Odisha;
(b) whether cooperative societies in Odisha have been onboarded onto the National
Cooperative Database; and
(c) the benefits achieved in terms of transparency, faster registration and improved governance?
ANSWER

(a) Yes, Sir, the integrated RCS digital portal has been launched by the Hon’ble Home and
Cooperation Minister and has gone live on 06.03.2026.
(b) Yes, Sir, all the Cooperative Societies of the Odisha State have been onboarded on the
NCD portal. The district-wise details are attached in Annexure I.
(c ) Since the integrated RCS portal in Odisha has been launched recently, and implementation
of the project by the majority of the States/UTs is currently in progress, it is too early to assess
the measurable improvements in the functioning of the RCS offices.
