(a) the details of expenditure of Rs. 5,000 crore funds utilized in 2025 under the Dairy Sahakar
Scheme;
(b) the detailed and the number of dairy cooperatives established in 2025 in comparison to
previous years under the scheme;
(c) whether the scheme’s fodder development programs notably improved milk production in
regions with limited resources in 2025 and if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether the measures being taken by the Government to enhance the branding and export
capabilities of country's dairy products under the scheme and if so, the details thereof; and
(e) whether the scheme supported innovations in mobile veterinary care and artificial
insemination in 2025 and if so, the details thereof and its impact on dairy productivity?

(a) and (b) Dairy Sahakar is the umbrella framework of National Cooperative Development
Corporation (NCDC), a statutory Corporation under the Ministry of Cooperation. As informed by
NCDC, the scheme aims to encourage dairy cooperatives across the country through financial
assistance for creation of infrastructure as well as business needs of dairy cooperatives and does
not involve formation of Cooperatives. Under this framework, no specific fund allocation has been
made by NCDC. Further, NCDC provides financial assistance to eligible dairy cooperatives
through State Government/ Direct funding across the country by dovetailing with various schemes
of Government of India and on its own. NCDC has provided financial assistance of Rs.13.325
Crore. The funds disbursed by NCDC during 2025-26 is tabulated below:
