(a) whether the Government is aware that during the construction of
Bareilly to Mathura stretch of National Highway (NH)-530B, heavy
dumpers are being routed through nearby rural link roads and if
so, the details thereof;
(b) whether the condition of roads in several villages in the districts
of Kasganj and Hathras in Uttar Pradesh has severely
deteriorated due to the movement of such heavy vehicles and if
so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether the Government has assigned the responsibility and
ensure repairing/reconstruction of these damaged rural roads at
the earliest and if so, the details thereof?

ASKED BY SHRI DEVESH SHAKYA REGARDING DAMAGE TO RURAL
ROADS.
(a) to (c) Various roads including rural link roads are being used by
the contractors for transportation of earth extracted from the
approved borrow areas. Certain rural roads have been reportedly got
damaged due to various reasons including haulage of construction
material. The damages, as reported by the State Government
authorities, are being attended by the Concessionaire from time to
time.
