(a) whether the Government maintains district-level data on key
development indicators such as poverty, employment, education,
health and infrastructure for Vikarabad district in Telangana; and
(b) if so, the details of the latest available data on these indicators
for Vikarabad district?

(a) to (b): The National Sample Survey (NSS) under Ministry of
Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is responsible for
conducting large scale sample surveys on various socio-economic
subjects across the country including Telangana. The reports of these
surveys alongwith their findings are available publicly on the website
of MoSPI and give estimates of important indicators such as health,
education, labour force, and economic planning, etc based on the
Central sample data, both at the national level and the State/UT
level. However, due to sample size limitations, generating reliable
estimates at the district level is not feasible from the NSS central
sample data.
Further, with an aim to enable data-driven planning at more granular
levels, States/UTs are being encouraged to participate in NSS surveys.
In almost all surveys, sampling design has been modified from the
month of January 2025 with a provision for generating district level
estimates with district as a basic stratum.
