Parliament Question: Details of Arrests and Convictions in ED cases

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE RAJYA SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 1136 ANSWERED ON 10/02/2026 DETAILS OF ARRESTS AND CONVICTIONS IN ED CASES 1136 SMT. RANJEET RANJAN: Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state: (a) whether, during the period from 1st January, 2019 to 15th January, 2026, persons have been arrested in cases registered by the Zonal/Sub-Zonal Offices of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), and if so, the State-wise and Zonal/Sub-Zonal Office-wise details of such persons arrested; and (b) the number of persons convicted by the courts in the aforesaid cases? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (SHRI PANKAJ CHAUDHARY) (a) Yes, during the period from 01.01.2019 to 31.01.2026, the Directorate has arrested 1003 persons under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002.
