BHOLA SINGH SMT RACHNA BANERJEE Will the Minister of CIVIL AVIATION be pleased to state:- (a) the number of airports, heliports and water aerodromes identified, sanctioned and operationalised under the UDAN Scheme, State/UT-wise; (b) the number of unserved and underserved routes made operational during the last three years; (c) the details of the financial assistance and incentives provided to airlines under the scheme during the said period, State/UT-wise; and (d) whether any proposals have been approved under the said Scheme for induction of indigenous aircraft and helicopters and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER Minister of State in the Ministry of CIVIL AVIATION (Shri Murlidhar Mohol) (a) Under the UDAN scheme, 95 airports, including 17 heliports and 2 water aerodromes, have been developed and operationalised across the country. (b) 188 RCS routes have been made operational during the last three financial years under the UDAN scheme. (c) The details of Viability Gap Funding (VGF) disbursed to the airlines under the UDAN scheme, State/Union Territory wise is at Annexure.
