SHRI RAJA A: Will the Minister of PORTS, SHIPPING AND WATERWAYS be pleased to state: प(cid:7275)न,पोत प(cid:7407)रवहन और जलमाग (cid:6981) म(cid:7074)ं ी (a) whether the Government of Tamil Nadu has sent proposal worth Rs.18,000 crores for development and improvement of small ports and logistics and development of coastal districts, improvement of storm water drains etc.; (b) if so, the details thereof and the response of the Union Government thereto; and (c) the timeline by which approvals are likely to be given and projects sanctioned? ANSWER MINISTER OF PORTS, SHIPPING AND WATERWAYS (SHRI SARBANANDA SONOWAL) (a) to (c) Government of Tamil Nadu has submitted proposal for development of maritime infrastructure worth Rs.18000 crore for inclusion in Sagarmala 2.0 scheme which is under formulation. *****
