Will the Ministerof HEALTH AND FAMILYWELFAREbe pleasedtostate:
(a) the amount of funds sanctioned/allocated under the Union Government's health schemes
in the Ujjain-Alot Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency from the year 2019 till date, year
wise;
(b) whether the Government maintains data of the number of families benefitted and patients
who have received treatment under the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya
Yojana(ABPMJAY) inthisconstituency, if so, the detailsthereof;
(c) whether any scheme has been sanctioned by the Union Government for the establishment
of new Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) Community Health Centers (CHCs) or the
upgradationof Districts Hospitals inthisParliamentary Constituency;
(d) if so, the number of hospitals, health centres, Health and Wellness Centres or other health
infrastructure established in the said areasfrom the said funds andtheirpresent status, thereof;
(e) whether any special scheme or programme is being implemented by the Union
Government to increase the availability of doctors, medicines and medical equipment for the
treatment of serious and rare diseases such as Haemophilia in the said Parliamentary
Constituency; and
(f) if so, the details thereof and if not, whether the Government proposes to introduce any
such scheme inthe future,if so, the detailsthereof?

(SHRIPRATAPRAO JADHAV)
(a) to (f): Central release under National Health Mission (NHM) from the FY2019-20 to FY
2024-25 and under PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) since
inception to the FY 2024-25 for the State of Madhya Pradesh including Ujjain-Alot Lok
SabhaParliamentary Constituency isattachedat Annexure.
Ayushman Bharat PradhanMantri - Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY)isa flagship scheme of
the Government which provideshealth coverof Rs. 5 lakhsper familyper yearfor secondary
and tertiary care hospitalization to approximately 55 Crore beneficiaries corresponding to
12.37 Crore families constituting economically vulnerable bottom 40% of India’s population.
Recently, the scheme has been expanded to cover 6 crore senior citizens of age 70 years and
1above belonging to 4.5 crore families irrespective of their socio-economic status under AB
PM-JAY with Vay Vandana Card. As per PM-JAY Dashboard, a total of 4.46 Cr. Ayushman
Cards have been created in Madhya Pradesh including 11,76,580 in Ujjain Lok Sabha
Parliamentary Constituency,ason 24.03.2026.
The National Health Mission (NHM) provides support for improvement in health
infrastructure, human resources in health facilities, availability and accessibility to quality
healthcare across the country including Ujjain-Alot Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency.
Technical and financial support is provided to the States/UTs to strengthen the public
healthcaresystem, based onthe proposals receivedinthe form ofProgrammeImplementation
Plans (PIPs) under NHM. Approval is accorded to the proposals in the form of Record of
Proceedings(RoPs)aspernorms& availableresources.
In February 2018, the Government of India announced 1,50,000 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs
(AAMs) [erstwhile Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres (AB-HWCs)] to be
established by strengthening the existing Sub- Health Centres (SHC) and Primary Health
Centres (PHC) across the country by December 2022. As reported by States/UTs on AAM
portal, a total of 1.84 lakh AAMs have been operationalized in the country including 12,708
AAMs inMadhya Pradesh,ason28.02.2026.
Health Dynamics of India (HDI) (Infrastructure & Human Resources), is an annual
publication, based on healthcare administrative data reported by States/UTs. Details of
availability of health infrastructure across the country including Madhya Pradesh, may be

The Government of India provides incentives and honorarium to medical professionals to
improve service delivery in rural and remote areas, including Maharashtra. Under NHM,
measures such as Hard Area Allowance for specialist doctors, flexibility to States to offer
negotiable salariesincluding “YouQuote We Pay”, non-monetaryincentives like preferential
admission in postgraduate courses and multi-skilling of doctors through training in
Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC) and Life Saving
Anaesthesia Skills(LSAS) are supported toaddress the shortage of specialists insuch areas.
To ensure availability of essential drugs and reduce the OOPE of the patients visiting the
public health facilities, Government has rolled out the Free Drugs Service Initiative under
NHM. This includes financial support to States/UTs for 106 drugs at SHC level, 172 at PHC
level, 300 at CHC level, 318 at SDH level and 381 drugs at district Hospitals. Anti-
haemophilia factorVII, VIII andIX andActivated prothrombincomplexconcentrate (APCC)
have been included inNHM Essential Drugs List at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) and District
Hospitals (DH) toaddress the issue of accesstomedicine.
