On 15.12.2025, Shri Jagadish Shettar raised Lok Sabha Starred Question No. 204 regarding the development of Shabarikolla village, Karnataka. The Minister of Tourism responded that while no proposal is currently under consideration for the development of Shabarikolla in Ramdurg taluka of Belagavi district, the Ministry has sanctioned two projects in Belagavi district. These include:
1. Under the PRASHAD scheme, the development of Renuka Yallama Devi temple, sanctioned in 2024-25, at a cost of Rs. 18.37 Crore.
2. Under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) Scheme, the development of Savadatti Yallammagudda in Belgavi, sanctioned in 2024-25, at a cost of Rs. 100.00 Crore.
The Ministry of Tourism complements the efforts of States/UTs in developing tourism infrastructure through various schemes and initiatives in consultation with State Governments/UT Administrations. The development of tourist destinations and products is primarily undertaken by the respective State Government/Union Territory (UT) Administration. The Minister of Tourism is Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Development of tourist destinations and products is primarily
undertaken by the respective State Government/Union Territory (UT)
Administration. The Ministry complements the efforts of States/UTs by
