SHRI G M HARISH BALAYOGI: Will the Minister of TOURISM be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government plans to develop digital twins of major tourist destinations across the country, if so, the details of destinations identified and the criteria used for their selection; (b) the details of technologies proposed to be used for creating these digital twins, including 3D scanning, real-time data collection systems, AI-powered crowd flow simulations and predictive analytics; (c) whether the Government plans to integrate these digital twins with virtual tourism platforms, booking systems and digital payment facilities for tourists and stakeholders, and if so, the details thereof; (d) the details of the steps taken/being taken to engage and train local communities/artisans/guides/homestay operators to utilize such platforms; (e) the details of the funds allocated and timeline for the development and implementation of digital twins and the coordination mechanisms established between Ministries and relevant stakeholders; and (f) whether the Government has identified any challenges in implementing digital twin technology, including technical, operational or data security issues and if so, the details of the measures proposed to address them?
