1693. SHRI KRISHNA PRASAD TENNETI:
Will the Minister of MINES be pleased to state:
(a) the details regarding the total amount of funds allocated, released and utilised
under the District Mineral Fund (DMF) in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise especially in
Bapatla Lok Sabha Constituency;
(b) the details regarding the list of projects proposed, under construction and
presently implemented in Andhra Pradesh via the DMF (especially the high priority
areas), district-wise especially in Bapatla Lok Sabha Constituency;
(c) the details of the total number of beneficiaries of projects under DMF across
Andhra Pradesh during the last five years, district-wise especially in Bapatla Lok
Sabha Constituency;
(d) whether there is any contemplation of transferring INR 5 Crores to MPLADS in
each district, if so, the details thereof and if not, reasons therefor; and
(e) whether there are any districts that have underutilised the DMF and the steps
undertaken by the Union Government to increase proper utilisation of funds in such
districts, especially in Andhra Pradesh, if so, the details thereof?

(a) As per the information received from the State Government of Andhra
Pradesh, the details are given at annexure-I.

(c) As per the information received from the State Government of Andhra
Pradesh, such details are not maintained.(d) As per the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY)
Guidelines, 2024, no fund shall be transferred in any manner from DMF to the State
Exchequer or State level fund (by whatever name called) or Chief Minister’s Relief
Fund or any other funds or schemes.
(e) The District Mineral Foundation (DMF) operates as a non-lapsable fund and
unspent balances continue to be part of the cumulative fund available with each
DMF Trust. As per the information received from the State Government of Andhra
Pradesh, as of April 2025, total DMF collection in Andhra Pradesh is ₹2375 crores,
of which ₹2281 crores have been allocated for various projects.
