(d) if so, the details thereof, and if not, the reasons therefor;
(e) whether it is a fact that Aurangabad was included in the first phase of DMIC, if
so, the details thereof; and
(f) the cost estimates for various infrastructure components along with the
contribution from the Government for different nodes under DMIC till date?

(a) to (d): Under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP) of
Government of India, two industrial nodes have been approved in the State
of Maharashtra as part of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) namely:
Shendra Bidkin Industrial Area (SBIA) admeasuring 9,929 acres
Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) admeasuring 6,056 acres
Shendra-Bidkin Industrial Area (SBIA) under Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor:
The Government of India (GoI) approved the development of Shendra
Industrial Area in 2015, covering 2,074 acres for a total project cost of Rs.1,533
crore (excluding land cost). Subsequently, in 2016, the Government approved
the development of Bidkin Industrial Area admeasuring 7,855 acres with a total
estimated cost of Rs. 6,414 crore, with an implementation plan in three phases.
SBIA has been developed in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district (erstwhile
Aurangabad district) of Maharashtra to provide world class, reliable,
sustainable and resilient plug-n-play infrastructure with walk to-work concept
for the industries and facilitate the manufacturing investments into the country.Trunk infrastructure and associated facilities is completed in Shendra Industrial
Area and Phase A of Bidkin Industrial Area covering 2,511 acres and land is
allotted to various industries by project Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). A total
of 3,124 acres of land has been allotted to national and international investors
in SBIA.
Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) under Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor:
The Government of India (GoI) approved the development of Dighi Port
Industrial Area (DPIA) in August 2024, covering 6056 acres in Raigad district
of Maharashtra for a total project cost of Rs. 5468 crore. Share of GoI’s
contribution (through National Industrial Corridor Development and
Implementation Trust (NICDIT)) has been approved for Rs. 1,543 crore as
equity for development of internal trunk infrastructure.
The existing Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in the State – Maharashtra
Industrial Township Limited (MITL), formerly known as Aurangabad Industrial
Township Limited (AITL) is the implementation agency for the project.
Environmental Clearance (EC) was received on 17th October 2022. A total of
1,180 acres of land has been transferred by the State Government to the Project
SPV, and a matching equity amounting to Rs. 301.04 crore has been released
by NICDIT.
(e): SBIA that is covered under DMIC was approved by the Government of India in
2015 and is situated in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district (erstwhile
Aurangabad district) of Maharashtra.
(f): The cost estimates for various infrastructure components along with the
contribution from the Government for different nodes under DMIC is as under:
