Wilson: Will the Minister of Education be pleased to state: (a) the State-wise and year-wise details of Gross Enrolment Ratio (primary to higher education) with national averages, literacy rates (7+ years), dropout rates and Pupil-Teacher Ratio, and Performance Grading Index (PGI) scores during the last five years; (b) the State-wise and year-wise details of students qualifying JEE/NEET per lakh population, education expenditure as percentage of GSDP, and number of NAAC A++/A+ institutions and NIRF rankings during the last five years; and (c) the details of school dropout ratio, State-wise and year-wise during the last five years? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (SHRI JAYANT CHAUDHARY) (a) to (c): As per UDISE+ (Unified District Information System for Education Plus), State/UT-wise Gross Enrolment Ratio, dropout rates and Pupil-Teacher Ratio by level of school education from the year 2020-21 to 2024-25 are available at https://www.education.gov.in/en/parl_ques. As per All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE), State/UT-wise Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) from the years 2018-19 to 2021-22 and 2022-23 (Provisional) are available at https://www.education.gov.in/en/parl_ques. As per Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) conducted by National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, State/UT-wise literacy rate in the country in the age group of 7 and above from the year 2019-20 to 2023-24 is available at https://www.education.gov.in/en/parl_ques. The Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education has prepared 73 indicator based Performance Grading Index (PGI) 2.0 for States/UTs. The domain-wise performance of the States/UTs in PGI 2.0 reports from the year 2019-20 to 2023-24 can be accessed at https://dsel.education.gov.in/en/statistics?field_statistics_category_target_id=236 State/UT-wise details of JEE (Main) 2021 aspirants who registered, appeared and qualified for JEE (Advanced) from the year 2021 to 2025 are available at https://www.education.gov.in/en/parl_ques.State-wise Expenditure on Education as percentage of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) from the years 2018-19 to 2020-21 (Actual), 2021-22 (RE) and 2022-23 (BE) is available at https://www.education.gov.in/en/parl_ques.
